FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – U.S. Senate candidate Hallie Shoffner met with University of Arkansas students Thursday afternoon.
The Young Democrats at the University of Arkansas hosted Shoffner at Hill Coffee, where she discussed her campaign and gave students the opportunity to speak with her directly.
With just under 70 days until voting begins, the event allowed students to become more familiar with Shoffner and her campaign.
During the event, Shoffner shared that hard work and service to the community are the main themes of her campaign.
Shoffner also discussed public education and access to high-quality education while speaking with students.
Students were able to ask questions about their concerns and hear more about her views on education and other issues facing Arkansas.
“The people of Arkansas are the heroes of this story,” she told students. “I chose y’all.”
