How to Get Involved

Join the UATV team!

We are looking for volunteers to join our crew every semester. No experience is needed, and all majors are welcome.

With programming ranging from Sports to live News as well as campus-wide happenings, there is a place for everybody at UATV.

The newscasts take place Monday through Thursday nights from 6:30 to 7 during UARK’s spring and fall semesters. For those interested in volunteering, be sure to arrive at the Student Media Center on the second floor of Kimpel Hall by 6:00 p.m. to network and learn various responsibilities for that night.
Volunteer Coordinator Katie Haidet will assist students and show them how to operate equipment. Volunteering allows for hands on experience in a real, student-news studio and control room with state of the art equipment. UATV also offers two speciality shows, including The Sports Advantage on Tuesday nights from 8:00-8:30 and the campus entertainment show Razorback Reels at the same time Thursday nights.
Volunteers are welcome for production of specialty shows.

Contact our Volunteer Coordinator Katie Beth Haidet at kehaidet@uark.edu for more ways you can get involved.
