FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – Renowned author R.L. Stine is coming to the Fayetteville Public Library.

Director of FPL’s Marketing and Communications, Samantha Herrera, said she encourages people to attend.

“This is going to be a fun event for Stine fans of all ages,” Herrera said.

Following the presentation, Stine will be available to sign books. Pearl’s Books will also have copies available for purchase.

Herrera said that this event fits the Halloween theme.

“We think having him here in October to talk about his successful career as the most celebrated horror author for young readers works so well for the season,” Herrera said.

The free event is part of the 10th annual True Lit Festival and will take place on Oct. 26 at 6:30. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and is limited to 650 participants.
