FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV)- Tuesday September 19th, the Multicultural Center is hosting a reception for Sueños: Dreaming With Our Eyes Open.
The reception is being held on the fourth floor of the Arkansas Union in the Anne Kittrell Gallery from 6p.m.-8p.m..
Sueños: Dreaming With Our Eyes Open is a portrait gallery highlighting Latine/x students and staff at the University of Arkansas and their journey to embracing their dreams and living life in the present.
In the gallery, over 40 portraits of alumni, staff, and students will be presented, as well as collages made of art, poetry, and pictures.
The event will feature a live mural painting by Arkansas alumna Lupita Albarrán.
