FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Athletic Director Hunter Yuracheck formally announced the firing of former head coach Chad Morris this morning.

“I do firmly and confidently believe it was the best professional decision and the best decision for the Razorback football program at this time,” said Yuracheck.

After the announcement, students took their reactions to social media. Many fans reacted with humor and excitement for the future of Razorback football. One student said he thinks the firing should have been done a long time ago. 

“It needed to happen at this point,” said freshman A’Darius Lee. “It should’ve been done ten years ago.”

Yuracheck said the search for a new head coach began today.
