FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) — Chancellor Charles Robinson will give a ‘State of the University’ address next week, Oct. 11.

Dr. Robinson is set to give updates about the ‘150 Forward Strategic Plan’, and share the successes seen during his tenure.

The ‘150 Forward Strategic Plan’ serves to fulfill the University of Arkansas’ role as a land-grant institution.

Robinson was appointed as the university’s seventh chancellor on Nov. 16, 2022, after previously serving as the interim chancellor. However, the process of creating the plan began before his selection.

Upon his appointment, Robinson urged the campus to support advancement in three specific areas: student success, research excellence, and becoming an employer of choice.

The address will take place at 10 a.m. in the Faulkner Performing Arts Center. It is open to the public and will also be streamed live on the UofA’s Youtube channel.
