FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV)- The Razorback Men’s Basketball Team takes the court to showcase to fans what they can expect for the upcoming season.
The game will be held at Barnhill Arena on Wednesday, with tip off set for 6:30p.m..
“I think it’ll be a good show for the fans. We want as much support out there as possible,” said Michael Musselman, Director of Basketball Operations. “I’m really excited for everyone to kind of see the new guys and see some of the returners to see how they’ve improved.”
Beyond seeing the new recruits, junior on campus Micah Quiambao looks forward to seeing the players in a more intimate setting.
“I think it’s a great way to get to know the players just because we’ve been watching them for such a long time and you kind of connect with them on a deeper level than just watching them at a basketball game,” said Quiambao. “You’re able to get to know how they celebrate and how they work together as a team.”
As the team has made it to the Sweet 16 the past 3 years, and Musselman is hopeful for another successful season.
“I think we have good returning base players,” said Musselman. “We brought in a lot of new talent. A lot of guys who can shoot, guys who are very versatile, versatile on both ends of the floor, and then just a bunch of guys who really want to win, which at the end of the day is the most important thing.”
