FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – The Chancellor’s Ball hosted by the Associated Student Government takes place Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
The Chancellor’s Ball: Everybody’s Formal will be located at the Graduate Hotel, 70 N. East Ave. In terms of landmarks, the hotel is right across from Arvest Bank in downtown Fayetteville.
The Chancellor’s Ball is free to currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Students must bring their student ID to gain entry.
The 2022 theme is masquerade and will present DJ Raquel, and the reveal of the Homecoming Court. DJ Raquel is one of Arkansas’ own, born and raised in Bryant. Northwest Arkansas is home to many DJ’s and MC’s and DJ Raquel is the featured DJ for this University of Arkansas event.
The Chancellor’s Ball will include appetizers, desserts, and a photo booth. Masquerade masks will be provided while supplies last. The ball will kick off in the many DJ’s and MC’s Brodie Payne ballroom on the second floor of the Graduate Hotel. Bag checks are mandatory, and no backpacks will be allowed.
Semi-formal attire is the encouraged dress code for the event. For those who would like a suggested condensed guide of dress codes follow the link.
Transportation with Pinnacle Shuttle Services run every 15 minutes between 7:30-11 p.m. Pick-up and drop-off points include Gregson Hall, Pi Phi Gates, and the Graduate Hotel.
The Associated Student Government at the U of A is a student-led organization that acts as an organized voice for all students and strives to effectively represent student interest. ASG supports a number of campus programs and initiatives while allocating over $260,000 to Registered Student Organizations each year.
