FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) — Once Upon a Time Books and the Walton Arts Center are hosting a Winnie the Pooh book drive this month.
Participants should bring gently used books for children who are aged 8 to 17. Books collected during the drive will be donated to the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter.
Books can be dropped off at Once Upon a Time Books in Springdale now through Oct. 22. There will also be an option to purchase new books for 30% off to donate.
Books can also be donated at the Walton Arts Center in Baum Walker Hall before performances of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation.
The performances will take place:
- Friday, Oct. 21, 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 22, 11 a.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 22, 2 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 22, 7 p.m.
Donating books before the show gives attendees the opportunity to teach their children about caring for others before seeing the show.
