Tyson launches free education program for employees

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) — Tyson Foods announced on Monday, April 25, its plan to provide free education to team members starting this summer.  

The Springdale-based business is offering an opportunity for U.S. team members to get their college degrees — from an associate’s to a master’s — or obtain certificates in literacy and technology fundamentals. 

The plan is a four-year $60 million investment and will cover all cost for team members.  

The program will include access to more than 175 different programs from 35 of the country’s universities and learning providers.
