FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) — A University of Arkansas fraternity will host a charity dance competition and other events starting Monday, April 25, and goes throughout the week.
The Sigma Chi Fraternity will host “Derby Days” to support the Huntsman Cancer Institute for Arkansas’ Children’s Hospital.
Events include banner day on Monday, field day on Tuesday, and the dance competition taking place Thursday, April 28.
Because of COVID-19, this is the first return of Derby Days on campus since 2019.
The dance competition will take place in Barnhill Arena from 7-10 p.m. The doors will open at 6 and wristbands for spectators will cost $10. All proceeds from the event will go toward cancer research.
