FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Former Razorback basketball player Michael Qualls was arrested on drug and speeding charges Wednesday morning.
Qualls was stopped for speeding on I-49 in Fayetteville around 8 a.m. According to Arkansas State Police, during the traffic stop, the state trooper “detected an odor” and found marijuana inside his vehicle.
Qualls, 21, was booked into the Washington County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.
He has been released on a $1,690 bond.
Qualls played three seasons with the Razorbacks, ending his college career last season as a junior.
