Student Hit by Car on Campus

A University of Arkansas student was hit by a car today on Razorback Road while in a crosswalk. The student was transported to Washington Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to UAPD, the driver of the car hit the breaks but did not stop in time and the student heard tires slide before getting hit. The driver of the car is a student at Fayetteville High School. This is the second pedestrian hit on Razorback Road in one week, after a non-affiliated person was hit last Thursday.
