Former State Treasurer Found Guilty
Former State Treasurer Martha Shoffner has been found guilty. She is guilty of 6 counts of extortion, 1 count of attempted extortion, and 7 counts of bribery. Shoffner received $36,000 from Broker Steele Stephens to direct business to St. Bernard Financial Services. The jury heard closing arguments this afternoon.

New information tonight on a shooting in Springdale. According to police, Scott Rocha is accused of shooting and killing his mother at their home Friday. Authorities say that after the shooting Rocha walked to a nearby liquor store to buy beer. He faces charges of capital murder and tampering with evidence. Rocha claims the shooting was an accident.
