Fayetteville City Council Discusses New Parking Deck
Fayetteville City Council members met tonight to discuss the design of a new parking deck. The deck will replace the Walton Arts Center lot to relieve crowding and provide additional parking for events in the downtown area. It will be three stories tall. This project is estimated to cost $70,000.
UofA Staff Member Arrested on Campus
A university staff member was arrested for public intoxication. Yesterday, a custodian was found drunk in Willard J. Walker Hall. UAPD was called to handle the situation.
Bentonville HS Released Early Because of Bomb Threat
Bentonville High School students were let out of school early today because of a message written on the boys bathroom wall. A custodian found a bomb threat in the bathroom this morning. UofA Elects New ASG President and Cabinet
The Associated Student Government has a new president. U of A students elected Junior, Daniel MacFarland from Keithville, Louisiana who is majoring in animal science. Nearly 15-hundred students voted in this year’s election. Other officers elected are Vice President Amy May West, Secretary Kelsey Furr, Treasurer Mike Wyse, and Chair of Senate Ray Todd.
