    Former State Treasurer Martha Shoffner has been found guilty. She is guilty of 6 counts of extortion, 1 count of attempted extortion, and 7 counts of bribery. Shoffner received $36,000 from Broker Steele Stephens to direct business to St. Bernard Financial Services. The jury heard closing arguments this afternoon.
