FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Razorback Foundation is giving fans a new way to show their team spirit and support student-athletes through the Razorback Raffle. The fundraiser connects directly to Razorback sporting events, offering fans a chance to win cash prizes while contributing to scholarships, facilities, and programs for University of Arkansas athletes.
Each raffle is tied to a specific Razorback game or event, with ticket sales opening before the matchup and closing shortly before the drawing. Once ticket sales end, a single winning ticket is selected at random through a certified electronic random number generator.
Ryan White of the Razorback Foundation said, “The last family to win the Razorback Raffle took home $62,195, it’s always exciting to see the impact these funds have on both our winners and the student-athletes we support.”
Tickets can be purchased online through the official Razorback Raffle website or the Razorbacks app, and occasionally in person at select events. Fans can choose from multiple ticket bundles, such as five tickets for $10, 25 for $20, 100 for $50, or 300 for $100. There’s no overall limit to how many tickets a fan can buy, but each transaction is capped at $250. Purchasers receive an emailed receipt with their official ticket numbers.
Half of the raffle’s net proceeds go directly to the winner, while the other half supports the Razorback Foundation. The foundation uses these funds to provide scholarships, enhance athletic facilities, and expand student-athlete programs. Winners must claim their prize within 120 days and are responsible for applicable taxes.
Participants must be 18 years or older and physically located in Arkansas when purchasing their tickets, as out of state purchases are not valid. The odds of winning depend on how many tickets are sold during that event’s raffle period.
The Razorback Raffle offers more than just a chance to win, it’s a way for Razorback fans to make a real impact on the university’s athletic community. Each ticket purchased supports the student-athletes who represent the Razorbacks both in competition and in the classroom.
Fans can open the Razorbacks app to learn more about upcoming raffles, official rules, and recent winners.
