FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – Yocum Hall residents were forced to evacuate Wednesday morning after floods were reported in student dorms.

At around 10 a.m., fire alarms went off around Yocum Hall due to floods affecting the basement, front desk, and multiple residences.

Students were held outside the building for about 30 minutes before being let back inside.

University Housing is still investigating the cause of the flood, and they say that cleanup is “mostly complete”.

Yocum Hall holds a total of 530 students and is located across from Kimpel Hall.
