FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – The University of Arkansas invites students to apply for the 2024 Family of the Year award. Students can nominate their family or another student’s family by submitting an application through Hogsync by noon on Friday, Aug. 30.
All U of A students enrolled for the fall 2024 semester who meet co-curricular requirements are eligible to apply. Both undergraduate and graduate students can submit nominations. Employees are also welcome to nominate a student’s family. Multiple nominations are allowed.
Sponsored by the Associated Student Government and Parent & Family Programs, the Family of the Year award recognizes a family that embodies the spirit of Arkansas and provides exceptional support for their student’s success.
The winning family will receive tickets to the Arkansas Razorback football game against the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Saturday, Sep. 14, and will be honored during the game. The announcement will be made no later than Monday, Sep. 2, ahead of the university’s official Family Weekend, scheduled for Sep. 13-15.
