FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – The University of Arkansas’ Volunteer Action Center is preparing for their 2024 Make A Difference Day.

Make A Difference Day will occur throughout the day on Sep. 21, starting at 9 a.m. The event is back for its third year after not being held since 2019.

Make a Difference Day will include 19 different service opportunities, both on and off campus.

The VAC’s focus is to make sure volunteers have a great time, while also making a positive difference in the Northwest Arkansas area. “Our tagline as always is to have the single largest day of community service on the University of Arkansas campus” said VAC member Miceala Morano.

The members of the VAC are hopeful that volunteer outreach continues to grow, as they are rebuilding the program after their 2-year break.

“The goal is always just to have an incredible Make A Difference Day.” said Morano.

The Volunteer sign-up for all Make A Difference Day events is now open on the University of Arkansas GivePulse.
