Walton students finding their future

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – Walton College of Business students got to meet with potential employers today and explore career paths.

The fair took place in Bud Walton Arena and over 150 businesses were in attendance.

Walton Ambassador Jaimee Hall said “the goal of the Walton career fair is definitely to walk away with an internship or career, or walk away with the contact information of someone who could get you an internship or career.”

Through the fair, students are able to learn how to market themselves to employers, while also finding out what they want to do with their futures.

“So many undergraduates have no idea what they want to do. It can be quite daunting to go to an event where there are 150 employers all looking for different things and different avenues of business and market yourself when you don’t know what you’re wanting to do exactly. So the career fair is an awesome opportunity for students to learn more about the opportunities that are available to them,” said Hall.

While this year’s career fair has come to a close, students can stay up to date on when the next event will take place on the College of Business website
