FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – This fall semester, international students and students who studied abroad are getting the chance to showcase their countries.
The Holcombe Hall Global Series continues tomorrow, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Holcombe Hall living room. This week, the series will take students on an imaginary trip to Italy.
One international student and three U of A seniors who spent time abroad will present on the country and share their experiences.
“We are hoping this provides international students a platform to share about their home culture with the university campus,” a spokesperson from Global Series said.
The event will be complete with four traditional Italian dishes, provided by II Circolo Italiano, a Registered Student Organization.
Global Series said that the goal of the event is to “increase opportunities for international education in the residence halls, and as a program overall.”
All who are interested are invited to participate. Student-status is not required.
