FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV)- Fayetteville Police have made an arrest in connection to the road-rage shooting that took place on Sept. 7th.
According to a release from the Fayetteville Police Department, Elias Hernandez, a 22-year-old male was arrested Thursday.
Police responded to reports of a shooting around 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Shiloh Drive.
Fayetteville PD said that the shooting occurred while two vehicles were traveling eastbound on MLK. The suspect who fired the weapon fled the scene before officers arrived.
Sergeant Tony Murphy said that upon arrival officers found that one 18-year-old male had been injured by gunshot during the incident and transported to a local hospital.
After investigation, Fayetteville detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Hernandez.
The 22-year-old is currently facing charges of terroristic act, first-degree battery, and three counts of aggravated assault.
