FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV)- The tradition of a homecoming king and queen has been around for decades at the University of Arkansas, and this year will be no different.
Nominations for potential homecoming court members will be closing on September 7th at noon. The court will consist of seven men and seven women, all eligible to win the title.
Requirements for a nominee include having completed 84 class hours and plans to graduate in the 2023-2024 academic year. Nominations must come from the president or treasurer of a Greek Life house or a Registered Student Organization.
Last year’s winners were Jason Collins and Karlie Barnett.
The Razorback homecoming game is set to take place October 21st against Mississippi State, where the king and queen winners are usually announced during the game’s halftime.
Homecoming is sponsored by the Arkansas Alumni Association.
