FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV)- The Washington County Fair has made its appearance in Fayetteville once again.
The fair ran from August 22nd to August 26th, hosting many events, from their Junior Premium Livestock auction, where they had 143 participants, to their Miss Washington County Fair pageant, where 8 girls were crowned.
Awards were also given out to food vendors at the Fair, including Sweet Scoops and Williams Famous Fried Chicken. Fair rides and games also gave visitors a variety of things to do.
Since the fair’s founding in 1857, it has grown into the largest fair in the state of Arkansas.
According to their website, they strive to bring together agriculture and business, as well as act as a host for local residents to show off their accomplishments in anything from livestock artwork.
