FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – The Razorback softball team lost to the UCA Bears two to one on Monday, March 6, ending a ten game winning streak.

Even with the loss, the hogs are still ranked No. 6 in the country, and are entering SEC play this Friday, March 10, against the No. 25 Texas A&M Aggies.

Much of the teams success this season can be attributed to sophomore outfielder Raigan Kraemer, who won SEC Player of the week this past weekend. Kraemer however, attributes much of the teams success to her teammates.

“Were really close as a team and I think that really helps,” said Kraemer.

The team has already beaten then ranked No. 22 Louisiana and went one to one with No. 19 Arizona. Notable losses include losses to No. 19 Duke and No. 7 Florida State. Their loss to UCA this past Monday was the first time the softball team has ever lost to them.

Notable upcoming games include this Friday against No. 25 Texas A&M, as well as No. 9 Alabama the weekend of March 18 and No. 12 Florida the following weekend.
