Arkansas student section offering incentives

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK (UATV) – The University of Arkansas marketing team is offering some new incentives for students to come to basketball games.

Over the past few weeks students at the University of Arkansas have seen more and more incentives for going to games. This includes food, jerseys and headbands. With more incentives coming up Arkansas “mic-man” CJ Josey explains how this is helpful.

“The incentives help get the attention of students, because who does not like free stuff? The great thing about this is that it helps to get the word around the word that there is an upcoming game. Students start to say ‘hey did you see they’re giving away this free thing’ and it spreads around the whole campus,” Josey said.

This University will be giving out free jerseys for Tuesdays game against Georgia and white headbands for all students against Kentucky at the end of the season.

Josey believes doing this will help get more people to the game early and create a better environment. He said “in order to have the best student section in the country it is very that our students get these incentives and spread the word to other students.”

The Razorbacks take on Georgia Tuesday at 8 PM and the early arriving students will get a free white Arkansas jersey.
