FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – The planning process for the development of a high end recreational vehicle resort in southwest Fayetteville is underway. The development’s name is Pigskin Park.

A group of out-of-state investors closed on 43.5 acres for $1 million in August. The 43.5 acres of Pigskin Park will have 165 RV lots for sale starting at $75,000. Each lot will have two parking stalls and electrical, water and sewer hookups.

Following a vote from the Planning Commission Monday October 10, more amenities than originally granted will be available at Pigskin Park.

The new plan consists of an outdoor pool, dog park, basketball and pickleball courts, playgrounds and parking in addition to the on- site security, climate controlled restrooms, Arkansas gameday entertainment and a shuttle service on Razorback game days.

Zach Hocker, a broker with Cushman & Wakefield Sage Partners in Rogers, is the owners’ development partner. Pending city approval the plan for the RV resort is to break ground early 2023 and be ready for operation summer 2023.
