FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV)  – Pinpoint Fayetteville, a bar located on the square, will transform into Nightmare on Block Street starting September 30.

The bar is closed this week while the Pinpoint team converts their basement into a Halloween experience. Creepy cocktails, scary pinball machines, and an immersive spooky environment are what guests can expect from the bar the whole month of October.

Nightmare on Block Street founder and Pinpoint owner, Bo Counts, has been creating Halloween pop-ups and events since 2006. Once he opened his own bar in 2018, Counts had a permanent home for his Halloween parties every October.

This year, the bar experience is not the only event in the month. Counts created a haunted alleyway theater experience called Conjuring and Other Sins located in the space formerly home to Nines Alley.

The Arkansas Cinema and Creative Spaces has partnered with Pinpoint to host horror movie screenings on Mount Sequoyah. The bar has also partnered with Ballet Arkansas of Little Rock to bring their performance of Dracula to the Fayetteville Public Library October 15. A blood drive to benefit the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is also in the works.

The bar is open Tuesday-Sunday from 5:00 P.M. to 2 A.M. and located at 23 N Block Ave.
