FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV)- The Arkansas Razorback athletic program is looking for people to sing the National Anthem at winter and spring sporting events.
Any singer or instrumentalist that is interested is welcome to apply by submitting a video to mktghogs@uark.edu. To be considered for the position, there are some guidelines that applicants must follow:
- Perform a cappella style and be of clean, crisp, professional sound quality, traditional style.
- The recording should be no longer than 90 seconds.
- Record in a quiet, well-lit space with no echo.
- No ‘selfie’ videos will be accepted.
Every applicant will be contacted shortly after their audition has been received to let them know whether or not they will be moving forward in the selection process. Those who are returning anthem singers are not required to submit an audition. Instead, they will be receiving an email shortly from the email listed above to confirm their future availability.
Opportunities for these positions are very limited and will fill up upon availability. The deadline for submissions is October 30th.
