First round of ASG debates kick off

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) — The Associated Student Government (ASG) executive candidate debates begin Tuesday and wrap up Wednesday, both beginning at 6:30 p.m., in Old Main’s Giffels Auditorium on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

Tonight’s debate will feature ASG candidates for . The candidates will be asked questions compiled by ASG’s Judicial Branch..

Tomorrow night’s debate will be set as a “town hall,” and students may ask questions to the ASG candidates.

UATV News will be livestreaming both debates on Facebook and Twitter.

ASG voting will begin next Monday, March 7 and ends Wednesday, March 9. Those elected will take office in May 2022.

Online voting will be made available on vote.uark.edu, and paper ballots may be requested by emailing osa@uark.edu
