FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – The Buffalo National River is commemorating the 50th anniversary of its designation as America’s First National River.
The park is planning a lineup of events as a way to celebrate the occasion. Events will take place throughout the year and include historical presentations, a birthday party, a music festival and much more.
The weekends for the celebration are as follows:
- History weekend: February 26 – March 1
- Art in the Park weekend: June 9-12
- Park RX weekend: October 8-9
