FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.(UATV) – Traffic around Fayetteville is incomparable to Razorback football game days. To avoid all the cars, Students can now park in scooter valets to avoid traffic.
The scooter valets were created to establish an organized parking area for scooters, especially on busy weekends.
Ammen Jordan, the Active Transportation Coordinator for the Office of Sustainability says organizing e-scooter parking can help avoid accidents.
” In the general vicinity of the football stadium there is no ride or park zone for scooters. We don’t want any conflicts between scooters and people that are tailgating. “
Jordan also wants to avoid collisions and keep scooters from laying on the ground and blocking sidewalks.
Scooters can be parked near the intersection of Maple and Garland or the intersection between Stadium and Clinton.
During home football games, the e-scooter valets are available 1 hour before kickoff. You can then walk the short distance from the service to the stadium.
Representatives of SPIN and VEORIDE will park scooters at the valet and have them ready to be picked up after the game.
