FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) –The U of A men’s golf team jumps to No. 3 in the nation after the tournament this weekend hosted by Blessings Golf Club. This fall Tyson Foods presented the event.
The Blessings Collegiate Invitational is said to provide a challenging course for golfers with intense competition. A senior on the roster, Segundo Oliva Pinto, said this tournament brings the top golfers head to head annually.
“This is really important for us. I mean, this is a very difficult course and we were able to come out big.”
Arkansas carried first place with a score of 18- under for 54 holes ending the tournament. The team conquered the men’s team title, the men’s individual champion in Luke Long, and the combined team title with the Razorback women’s team.
