FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.(UATV) – This week, the University of Arkansas is hosting a series of events in which anyone can come and be apart of. Due to Covid-19, there were many restrictions in place last year for the safety of everyone involved. This year all is welcomed and many are excited for alumni to come and be a part of this year’s homecoming celebration.
“I am excited to see the homecoming parade and attend the pep rally. I did not get the chance to last year and it is really cool that I get to witness it in my senior year.” says Ethan Nguyen, president of the Vietnamese Student Association.
On Monday, the alumni association and the associated student government are co-hosting a Monday kick-off for many to attend. George’s Majestic Lounge will be hosting a homecoming concert Wednesday at 8 in the evening.
Fayetteville Town Center will hold the Arkansas Alumni awards banquet on Thursday at 5:30 in the afternoon. Friday, the homecoming parade will start on Dickson Street at 6 in the afternoon, making their way down to the Chi Omega Greek theatre where they end the night with a pep rally.
Saturday is the homecoming game where the Arkansas Razorbacks take on the Auburn Tigers at 11 A.M.
