FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.(UATV) – The Pat Walker Health Center hosted a vaccine booster clinic at the Union today. The clinic is for those who are eligible for the booster dose of the Pfizer- BioNTECH vaccine.
” We felt that it was appropriate to work with the Arkansas Department of Health to make sure those who are eligible which include, faculty, staff and students who work in higher education, have an opportunity to easily access their Covid boosters.” says Zac Brown, Director of Communications for The Pat Walker Health Center.
No appointment is required all though you can schedule an appointment at Pat Walker if you can not make the clinic. The Vaccine is free but they do ask if you have your health insurance to bring that along with your vaccine card if requesting a second dose of Pfizer or requesting your booster shot.
The clinic ran from 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
