FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – University of Arkansas employees can schedule an appointment to receive the Pfizer Covid-19 booster shot at the Pat Walker Health Center.
Vaccination status will be verified at time of appointment.
The Arkansas Department of Health confirmed individuals who work at colleges and universities qualify for a booster because of an increased risk to exposure.
For eligibility, one must have received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine, with the second shot happening more than six months ago.
Per CDC guidelines, those who took the Moderna or Johnson and Johnson vaccines do not qualify for the booster at this time.
