FAYETTEVILLE, Ark (UATV) – The University of Arkansas Associated Student Government, Multicultural Center and Greek life have put together a Glow Run for tomorrow night outside the union.
The Glow Run is in support of survivors of sexual assault and those in charge hope to bring awareness to the community of Fayetteville.
Students are encouraged to wear glow gear in solidarity for survivors.
The Glow Run is a part of a larger national movement called “It’s On Us Week”, a movement known to combat campus sexual assault.
This event intends to bring the community and campus together through a fun run or walk in the evening.
Starting at 7:30 p.m., students can participate in a short run or walk and enjoy the community around them rather than a competition.
The event will also include a DJ, free drinks and food, and campus merchandise.
Students can pre-register online on Hogsync and can attend the event for free.
