Fayetteville, Ark. — By Raegan Holland
Starting Sept. 20, Razorback Transit will transition routes 13, 21, 33, 35, 44 and 48 to an on-demand service after 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition, Route 26 will offer bus riders a one bus per hour frequency after 8 p.m. on weeknights.
The recent route adjustments are in result of Razorback Transit’s ongoing driving shortage.
“The reason is Razorback Transit encounters the same thing that businesses are encountering everywhere. They can’t hire people to come to work,” said David Wilson, director of communications Transit and Parking.
