FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) – The Arkansas Razorback football team defeated Georgia Southern last Saturday, putting them at number 16 in the nation.
The game puts Arkansas at 3-0 for the season with head coach Sam Pittman.
“I thought we played well against the option, and was really proud of our defense for swarming to the ball, and loved the defensive gameplay that we had,” said Pittman.
Quarterback KJ Jefferson threw for a career-high 366 yards, and tied his career high with three touchdowns. Wide receiver Treylon Burks finished with 127 yards and one touchdown.
Saturday’s win was the biggest margin of victory since Pittman took over as coach.
