FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Tomorrow, NWA Gives hosts its’ annual Day of Giving event.

The event is for local non-profits to fundraise and connect with the community. NWA Gives provides fundraising training and other resources for non-profits. Co-Founder of NWA Gives, Chris Haas, said the Day of Giving mission is to help meet needs in Northwest Arkansas.

“Every April, we invite non-profits to rally together, to come together, and invite people to give to those non-profits. The mission is to help meet needs in northwest Arkansas,” Haas said.

From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow, anyone can visit the NWA Gives website to view the nearly 300 Northwest Arkansas non-profits participating and make donations.

“There are amazing non-profits on there,” Haas said. “Go to the list and see who is there; you’ll find somewhere that connects with your heart of giving.”

Last April, the event took place during the beginning of the pandemic. Haas said it had a great turnout even during that time, and he hopes for even more generosity from the community this year.

NWA Gives vision is to help meet needs in Northwest Arkansas and see the region become one of the most generous in the world.
