Gameday preview: No. 18 Razorbacks look to run through Lady Rebels

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UATV) — The number 18 Razorbacks are looking for another in-conference win against the unranked Ole Miss Lady Rebels.

Coming off an 86-80 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs on the road, the Hogs seek to sweep the Rebels at home.

In the game against the Bulldogs, Destiny Slocum shot the peel off of the ball, going 11-15 from the floor. Slocum finished with a game-high 26 points.

Joining Slocum in 20+ point scoring was redshirt senior guard Chelsea Dungee with 22 points on 7-12 shooting.

Guard Amber Ramirez played in the double-digits as well with 12 points and a perfect 2-2 from beyond the arc.

Ole Miss is coming off a two-game win streak against a number 17 Kentucky team and Alabama.

In the Lady Rebels last game against the Alabama Crimson Tide, junior forward Shakira Austin recorded game-highs in both rebounding and scoring, posting an impressive 25-point 13-rebound double-double. Six of her thirteen boards came off the offensive glass.

Ole Miss ended up beating Alabama 67-62.

The Razorbacks and Rebels face off tonight (Feb. 19) in Bud Walton Arena at 6 p.m.
