Razorback baseball season opener pushed back

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team’s season opener against the Texas Tech Red Raiders has been moved from Friday, Feb. 19 to Saturday Feb. 20 due to inclement weather.

Arkansas’ three-game slate at the 2021 State Farm College Baseball Showdown will now run from Saturday, Feb. 20 to Monday, Feb. 22 at Globe Life Stadium.

The Hogs stand at number 8 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, and the upcoming rival Red Raiders sit at number 4.

In the Omahogs’ two other games, they take on the Texas Longhorns (Feb. 21) and the TCU Horned Frogs (Feb. 22).

Texas ranks number 10 in the Coaches’ Poll and TCU places at 11.

The Razorbacks’ first game against Texas Tech will now start at 7pm this Saturday. The second game against Texas starts 7pm on Sunday. The tournament weekend comes to an end against the TCU Horned Frogs at 6pm Monday.
