WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (UATV) — The Springdale Housing Authority began handling applications for rent and utility bill assistance as a part of the Washington County COVID-19 assistance program.
As of Wednesday, paper forms were made available and can be picked up and dropped off at the city of Fayetteville’s Community Resources Office.
Pick up and drop off hours will take place Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Economic Opportunity Agency said that through recent state legislative action, the Arkansas Community Action Agencies Association has received $10 million in federal grant funds to provide rental assistance to low-to-middle-income Arkansas residents through the Arkansas COVID-19 Fresh Start Housing Stabilization Program.
