Walmart to receive COVID-19 vaccines

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (UATV) Governor Asa Hutchinson announced Tuesday that 60 Arkansas Walmart stores will receive shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The retail giant is expected to start administering the shots as early as next week.

The vaccines received by Arkansas come in addition to the shipments Arkansas is already receiving, Hutchinson said.

Hutchinson praised Walmarts supply chain and ability to move inventory, citing them as major reasons for giving the Bentonville retailer access to shipments.
