FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Pre – Professional RSO Involvement Fair will take place virtually Thursday.
The fair allows students to explore registered student organizations in their field of study. Students can access the event in their HogSync account. The Student Organization Outreach and Involvement Experience (SOOIE) involvement director, Chloe Bevenue, said many different RSOs would be attending.
“We’ve invited over 75 RSOs from that category, such as pre-law and future women business leaders to integrate and set up camp on HogSync,” Bevenue said.
Students from all majors can attend the virtual event.
Pre-professional RSOs work with students on achieving career goals and making a plan for after graduation. Bevenue said career and education planning resources are offered from many of the RSOs.
“Plenty of these RSOs have resources and help you find people that can help you choose where you want to go for graduate school, help with admissions tests, and give you better insight into what careers in your desired field would look like,” Bevenue said.
The event will take place from noon to two. Students can join zoom meetings with any of the RSOs attending.
“You can pick from the list in Hogsync, and then you’ll be in a zoom meeting with that RSO’s leaders or representatives, and they’ll take to you personally about the organization,” Bevenue said.
SOOIE will enter all students attending the fair in a giveaway to win an Amazon gift card.
