FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Coronavirus outbreak is spreading across the country at a fast rate. The number of cases of infected patients around the world is over forty-five thousand, with only six thousand being severe cases and the others being mild.
According to CDC.gov, only two states in the United States have more than fifty cases, and there are fifteen states that have had zero cases of COVID-19. This virus is causing some colleges to start doing online-only in an attempt to make the least amount of human contact as possible.
Spring break will be difficult for those whose flights and cruises are being canceled. “Consider method of transportation for all travel. Air travel, for example, tends to be crowded with people in close proximity in the plane and the airport. Traveling in a personal vehicle to a destination, would limit exposure to crowds,” the University of Arkansas’ health page said.
Coronavirus updates will regularly be added to CDC.gov and health.uark.edu.
