FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Those looking to get ahead of long lines on Super Tuesday can take advantage by going to the polls early.
Early voting has entered its second week in Washington County.
Voters are required to have valid photo identification before they can cast a ballot.
Casting a ballot early can also help residents avoid long lines on Super Tuesday.
“Voting early will release congestion on election day,” said Becky Lewallen, Washington County Clerk. “You can get in and out in five minutes compared to a line on election day,” she said.
Early voting ends Saturday, February 29th.
Residents can vote at the following places:
- Washington County Courthouse, February 24th-28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., February 29th 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Arvest Ballpark, February 24th-27th 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., February 28th 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Boys and Girls Club Fayetteville, February 24th-28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Elkins Community Center, February 24th-28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Medical Arts Pharmacy, February 24th-28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Prairie Grove Fire Station, February 24th-28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Rodeo Community Center in Springdale, February 24th-28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Goshen United Methodist Church, February 28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Elmdale Baptist Church, February 28th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Lincoln Community Center February 28th-29th 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
