How Students Study with Midterms Close

By Justin Liddle

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — If you’re a student, the familiar stress of exam studying is likely creeping back in.

68 percent of students polled on Instagram said they will use cramming the night before as their study method.

“I always wait until the day of, or a few days before to study,” said Parker Burris, a junior at the University of Arkansas.

However, he said it had worked for him so far.

But if students want a less last-minute study method, they can try the CLASS+ service. They offer academic coaching, tutoring or writing help among other things.

During the last semester there were over 51,000 recorded SI attendances and around 2,500 tutoring and coaching appointments.

“Tutoring helps me in a lot of different ways,” said Patricia Means, another student at the University.

One of the ways she uses the service is practicing vocabulary with her Japanese tutor.

Students can use CLASS+ through appointments, walk-ins or online at class.uark.edu.
