FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Fayetteville-made Slim Chickens has reached a new milestone. Slim Chicken just celebrated its 100th restaurant opening in a Little Rock, Arkansas back in December and is now opening its seventh UK eatery this coming weekend in a shopping center in Stone, Kent, England.
Occupying a space on the University of Arkansas, students is loved by students. One student Ashlin Forbis is a regular at Slims Chickens. “Every Monday during my break between my classes me and my roommate meet up to get lunch at the Slims on campus,” says Forbis.
The fast food chain which can be found in several locations in Fayetteville, can now be found in 15 states, opening in four other states this coming year. These new states include Florida, New Jersey, Maryland and Utah.
The famous Fayetteville chicken is opening 30 more locations in 2020. With such growth in such a little time Slims is becoming one of Fayetteville’s most successful companies to get its start here. The company has a goal of 600 additional restaurants and $1 billion in sales within the next decade and is on track to make it after committing to opening 360 more locations in the future.
